The US|China Green Tech Summit in Shanghai is being organized in partnership with the US-China Green Energy Council, under the umbrella of the US-China Green Energy Conference series which are owned and organized by the US-China Green Energy Council.  The Summit brings together leading clean technology, renewable energy, and investment specialists from the business sectors in China and the US to push forward innovative and practical solutions to creating a sustainable energy future.  Drawing particularly from the experience of California business, government, and academia in the green tech space, the conference is specifically designed to promote business-to-business interaction across all levels of industry—from small, aggressive tech start-ups to large, established market leaders—with the objective of providing business-critical information, facilitating personal contacts, and identifying opportunities for new business development. 

Speakers and participants will include Chinese and American energy experts, CEOs and senior executives, and investors.  In addition to plenary addresses and panel discussions, two tracks of business presentations on the last day will enable trans-Pacific partnerships to be made, and a seminar for companies just coming to the Chinese market will help new entrants identify key opportunities for business development.  Ample opportunity will be provided throughout the event to network with investors and cross-border executives, and to engage in specific discussions regarding emerging technologies that hold significant promise in the clean industrial revolution, with a special focus on China.  Through these exchanges, the US|China Green Tech Summit will consider innovative energy solutions being developed in both China and the US across areas such as efficiency, renewable energy generation, green building and advanced materials design and pave the way for new collaborative efforts going forward.
