The United States and China are the world's two largest nations in primary energy consumption, petroleum demand, and greenhouse gas emissions. The US-China Green Energy Forum is designed to explore ways of forming cleantech partnerships and alliances among private parties, non-governmental organizations and public sector organizations in the U.S. and China. The Forum encourages participants to become informed about the challenges facing the development and implementation of green energy technologies. We endeavor to overcome these challenges together by cultivating unique solutions and creating shared benefits.

The first US-China Green Energy Forum was held in November 2008 in Beijing, China. U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein and Dr. Han Qide, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of National People's Congress of China (NPCC), were the Honorary Co-Chairs. Over 100 speakers and 500 professionals from the U.S. and China joined the Forum, including Fortune 500 company executives, seasoned entrepreneurs, government officials, top investors, and renown scholars. The Forum garnered over 1,000 media mentions on the Internet from major Western and Chinese media, including ABC, National Public Radio, China Central Television (CCTV), China Daily, and Sina.com.

The second US-China Green Energy Forum will be held in October 2009 in Silicon Valley, USA. Silicon Valley is the heart of cleantech innovation and California is a leader in the world’s migration to sustainability. The focused topics of the Forum include, but are not limited to: Green Building/Eco-city, Transportation/Electric Vehicle, Renewable Energy, Smart Grid, and Cleantech Investment.
